Tanglewood Student Data Base and Communications
FOCUS/Parent Portal:
FOCUS is the FWISD student information system. Students and parents can access
FOCUS to view grades and attendance. The data in FOCUS are in real-time. You
may access FOCUS by going to https://www.fwisd.org/Page/2588 . Login
information is listed below. Please set your preferences in the Parent Portal to enable text notifications. This is how we send out reminders throughout the year.
Parents:
You will create an account using your email and password of your choice by
clicking here: https://www.fwisd.org/parentportal
2nd-5th Grade Students:
Example: John Doe at campus 171 (Tanglewood) with a student ID of 123456
User Name: s123456@stu.org (the “s” stands for student followed by the student ID #) Password: JoDo.171 (First two letters of first name, first two letters of last
name .171) The first and third character must be capitalized.
KG-1st Grade Students:
Example: John Doe at campus 171 (Tanglewood) with a student ID of 123456
User Name: s123456@stu.org (the “s” stands for student followed by the student
ID #) Password: S123456 (the “S” must be capitalized)

The best way to receive important information about Tanglewood news and
events is to sign up for Tanglewood PTA E-Blast. Please visit the Tanglewood PTA
website to register: https://tanglewoodpta.org/
School administration sends out updates and reminders to all parents via text and
email. To sign up, please register for a Parent Portal account and enable text
notifications. We also post to the FWISD App. Download the FWISD App and
follow Tanglewood. If you are not receiving our text messages, please text the
word START to the number 60680.
