Date Change for Storybook Parade

The weather prediction for Friday morning is 38 degrees with 15 mph winds.  This is too cold for our students to be outside without the appropriate outerwear.  Since it would defeat the purpose of the parade to have them bundled up with their costumes hidden, we have decided to postpone the storybook parade until Monday morning.  Students should wear TW spirit clothes or uniforms to school on Friday.  The temperature will rise into the high 50’s for carnival so that will still go on as planned.

The weather forecast for Monday morning shows partly cloudy skies with a low of 55 degrees.  We will also “gain” an extra hour of sunlight over the weekend so it won’t be as dark in the morning.  Students are invited to wear their storybook costumes to school on Monday, November 4th.  After the parade, they will need to change into college spirit clothing or uniforms.  We had make-up picture day scheduled for Monday, but that has now been postponed to Friday, 11/15.

Thank you for understanding,
