Visiting author and storyteller JOE HAYES is coming to Tanglewood on Wednesday, November 13th.
Joe Hayes is an award-winning author and nationally recognized teller of Southwestern tales from the Hispanic, Native American and Anglo cultures. He has had four books on the Texas Bluebonnet Award master list and won the award for Ghost Fever. Grandpa’s Ha-la-loo-ya Hambone was on last year’s list. Joe’s books have also received the Arizona Young Readers’ Award, two Land of Enchantment Book Awards, the SouthwestBook Award, and The National Storytelling Association Talking Leaves Oracle Award.
