New School Start and End Times!

To better support our students, families, and staff, Fort Worth ISD is updating school start times beginning in the 2025–26 school year.

These changes reflect valuable input from parents and are designed to improve daily routines, streamline transportation, and enhance the overall school experience.

Elementary schools will now begin at 7:40 a.m., and end at 3:10 p.m., while middle and high school start and end times will remain unchanged.

2025-26 school year start times:

  • Pre-K: 7:40 a.m. – 3:00 p.m
  • Kinder: 7:40 a.m. – 3:05 p.m.
  • 1st – 5th Grades: 7:40 a.m.  – 3:10 p.m.
  • Middle Schools: 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • High Schools: 8:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
  • Early College High Schools: 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to create a stronger, more efficient school day for everyone.
