WHAT IS GO WAC?
GO WAC stands for Give Online! Write a Check! We want to make it simple for our Tanglewood families! 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes directly to the PTA. There’s only ONE chance and ONE week to give this semester…and it’s during GO WAC week!WHY GO WAC?
The Tanglewood PTA provides so many incredible programs and “extras” for our students that are not provided by FWISD. Your GO WAC donation funds: Think Tank/STEAM lab, Spanish program, enhanced campus security, Artapalooza (Fine Arts Day), Field Day, Splash Day, Fall Carnival and SO MUCH MORE! If you break it down, the PTA contributes approximately $825 per student in recurring expenses per year!PARENTS OF MULTIPLE CHILDREN: Please choose the amount you would like to donate (below) for ONE CHILD AT A TIME, add to cart, and return to this form to complete for the next child. (This will ensure the funds are calculated per class correctly for incentives) INCENTIVES for DONATING:
o ANY donation amount will receive a TEAM TANGLEWOOD yard sign!
o RAFFLE TICKETS: For every $100 donated, your name/ family will be entered into the raffle drawing for principal of the day.
o FAMILY SPONSOR BANNER: Each family that donates $800 or more will be recognized on a vinyl banner displayed on the playground fence for the 24-25 school year.
o GRANDFRIENDS – For every $100 donation, your student’s name is displayed on a GOLD MEDAL in the hallway and kept up through Grandfriends Day. STUDENT PARTIES: October 4th, 2024.
o EXCLUSIVE CLASS PIZZA PARTY WITH TANGA: The CLASS with the highest donation total will receive an EXCLUSIVE party with the ONE and ONLY Tanga, the Tiger! Tanga has all sorts of amazing things planned ( games, music, pizza, and treats!) It’s going to be the CLASS PARTY OF THE YEAR!
o SNOWCONE GRADE LEVEL PARTY: The GRADE with the highest donations will win a “Kona Ice” (snow cone) dance party/extra recess on the playground!
o WHOLE SCHOOL: If we meet our goal of $95,000, each grade level will have a DJ dance party during their recess on 10/4 AND the whole school will get a FREE DRESS WEEK 12/16-12/19!
